CV is a document that reveals a person's life, his abilities, talent, business skills and experience. In other words, it is a summary of the skills that a person has acquired up to this day.

Types of resume

  • Chronological reference

The most used resume https://resumegets.com/cv-writing. At the same time, information about education and previous areas of activity is given in chronological order, starting from today and vice versa.

  • Functional autobiography

A brief description of the person's experience in business life is given. In this section, the person explains their own qualifications by talking about their thoughts and how they will benefit in the relevant area.

  • Resumes for new graduates

In this case, it is impossible to answer some questions, because the person has just started working. In this case, the most important part to pay special attention to is the correct expression of the purpose of the statement.

Explanation

A resume is a summary of your skills, experience, education, and what you have already done. This is not the story of your life. It should not exceed one page; if you have a lot of knowledge and experience, then it should be one and a half, maximum two pages.

You should consider your resume as a road sign. It should show the most important things at a glance, be easy to read, and make the reader say, ""This could be the person I'm looking for.""

You can also treat your resume as your own advertisement. Every day we watch a lot of commercials on TV. We forget some of them; we like the sketches of some of them; but some of them make us want to try this product. Experts say that the most important impression is made in the first 30 seconds of resumes read by recruiters. And if the first impression is positive, then the person is called for an interview.

Before you start writing, you need to do preliminary work on two issues:

Self-esteem

Determine what skills and characteristics are required for the job we are applying for.

Sit down and think:

  • What are your needs and expectations from the job?
  • In what environment and with what people do you want to work?
  • How much will you be paid?
  • What skills do you have?
  • What are your human qualities?

If you do this, you will not only determine what to write on your resume, but also what you expect from business life.

As a rule, vacancy announcements indicate what qualifications are required for the job. If you don't have all the information about the job you're applying for, look for ways to get it because otherwise you won't be able to decide if you're the right fit for the job or if the job is right for you.
